If I strain my ears, the sound will echo... An early summer's memory; a season of hydrangeas. You tried walking away without holding up your umbrella. A far away figure... the lapis lazuli colored scent. Your goodbye comes along like a sudden, violent gust of wind. But there's still a faint warmth because of you. You wave your hand and say, "it's for our sake". A rain of emotion streams down my cheek. I tried to hide my wet eyelids, the sound of your heartbeat only trembled in the silence. What is there to say? What is there to try to tell you? I should have noticed it... The rain fell from a cloudy sky. I guess the raindrops were for the sake of hiding my teary eyes. Holding my umbrella, I raised my hand; and looked up at the transparent sky. The moment I meet the sound of my heartbeat, it's no longer there. We cannot return to those times..
